Very nice stay

The approach is unhurried. A quiet residential street, snow settling on rooftops, the low hum of a town that has learned to balance its storied past with the easy rhythms of mountain living. Abode at Silver Mountain sits within walking distance of Historic Main Street, a private residence that offers the kind of space and autonomy that hotels rarely can. This is not a lobby-and-concierge experience. It is a home, arranged with care, where the mountains feel close and the days unfold on your own terms.
The residence is designed for groups and families who want room to spread out. Multiple bedrooms accommodate guests comfortably, and the living spaces are generous enough to gather without feeling crowded. The kitchen is fully equipped, ready for mornings spent cooking at a relaxed pace or evenings preparing a meal together after a day on the slopes. Large windows bring in natural light and frame the surrounding landscape, while the interiors are warm and considered, balancing mountain character with clean, modern comfort. The private hot tub is the kind of detail that reshapes an evening entirely. After a long day outdoors, stepping into hot water under open sky becomes less amenity and more ritual.
The location does much of the work here. Historic Main Street is reachable on foot, which means the restaurants, galleries, and shops that define the town's personality are never more than a short walk away. There is no need to drive for dinner or navigate parking after a day of skiing. The proximity gives the stay a particular ease, letting you move between the privacy of the residence and the energy of town without friction. Ski access and outdoor recreation are close at hand, and the surrounding terrain shifts with the seasons, from powder-covered slopes in winter to trails and open landscapes in warmer months.
Abode at Silver Mountain belongs to a collection of curated rental properties managed by Abode, a hospitality company known for placing guests in well-appointed homes across the area. The attention to detail is evident in the furnishing, the stocking of essentials, and the overall readiness of the space. What stays with you is the rhythm the residence encourages. Mornings are slow. Afternoons are spent outside. Evenings draw everyone back to the living room or the hot tub, the kind of place where conversation comes easily and the mountain air does the rest.

There's something quietly powerful about a home that's stood since 1909 and still knows how to hold a room. This is a miner's residence that earned its character the long way — through restored hardwood floors, original woodwork, and an antique wood-burning stove that anchors the dining room with real warmth. It sits on two and a half lots in Old Town Park City, which means the yard feels genuinely private, enclosed by aspens rather than neighboring walls. You're steps from the Town Lift and Main Street, but the property pulls off something rare: it feels tucked away. The scale is intimate — three bedrooms, space for eight — which makes it suited to a close group or family who'd rather share a kitchen than a hotel hallway. It's the kind of place where the quilt on the bed was chosen with intention, and evenings drift naturally between the hot tub and the back deck. History here isn't decorative — it's structural.

You cannot beat the location of this house! We were less than 2 blocks from the trail down to the town lift...easy walk even for my 9 and 7 year old carrying their own ski gear. The hot tub was great every day after skiing and was well maintained during our stay there. We traveled as a family of 4 with another couple and the split living was absolutely ideal. Our family stayed downstairs with the 2 bedrooms, bathroom and small living area the kids could play and watch tv in. And then the other couple had their own space on the main floor. The property was cozy and had all the amenities we were looking for...there is even a small yard (seems hard to come by so close to downtown) and the kids were able to sled and play in the snow. Would 100% stay here again...highly recommended if you're wanting easy access to the slopes and downtown shopping/eating out.
