This was beautiful and the view was exceptional!

There is something honest about a home that doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. Abode at Queen Esther sits on a quiet residential street in Lower Deer Valley, just a block from the shuttle that connects you to the mountain's lifts and village. It is a straightforward, well-located retreat built for travelers who would rather spend their time on the trails and slopes than inside counting thread counts. The house carries the familiar warmth of a classic Park City neighborhood home, compact and functional, with the kind of lived-in comfort that invites you to drop your gear by the door and settle in without ceremony.
The residence offers a practical layout suited to small groups, couples, or families looking for an affordable foothold in one of Utah's most sought-after ski destinations. Common areas are designed for gathering after a day outdoors, with a kitchen ready for home-cooked meals and a living space where the day's stories inevitably unspool. It is worth noting that the home does not have air conditioning, a detail that speaks to its mountain sensibility and the cool evenings that define Deer Valley's higher elevations through much of the year. What the property lacks in polished luxury it returns in location and value, two currencies that matter deeply when the mountains are calling.
Deer Valley itself is the draw here. Known for its meticulously groomed runs, limited daily skier capacity, and a refined approach to the resort experience, the area attracts those who appreciate a more considered pace on the mountain. In warmer months, the surrounding terrain opens up for hiking, mountain biking, and the kind of unhurried alpine wandering that makes the Wasatch Range so compelling. Park City's Historic Main Street, with its galleries, restaurants, and independent shops, is a short drive or shuttle ride away, offering a full spectrum of dining and nightlife without requiring you to leave the greater Park City ecosystem.
Abode at Queen Esther is managed by Abode Park City, a local vacation rental company with a portfolio of homes across the area. Their concierge services and local knowledge add a layer of support that elevates the experience beyond a standard rental. This is a home for guests who want proximity to Deer Valley without the premium price tag, a place where the mountain is the main character and the house is simply where you rest between chapters.

There's something about the way this house holds a group together — the lofty ceilings and soaring windows pull the mountain light deep inside, while the massive stone fireplace anchors everything around a single, warm center of gravity. It feels like a place built for the in-between moments: the post-ski debrief with wine in hand, the unhurried breakfast at the granite counter, the late-night laughter drifting up from the bunk room. The custom stained glass is an unexpected touch — it reads as personal rather than decorative, lending a sense of history to a property that could easily lean purely modern. And the hot tub, set against the Rocky Mountain backdrop, earns its keep not as a luxury but as a kind of quiet reset. This is a house for extended families or old friends who want proximity to Deer Valley's polish without staying somewhere that feels impersonal — and that distinction matters more than most people realize.

Abode is overall one of the best hosts I have encountered on AirBnB. Responsive, respectful, and a beautiful home.<br/>Close to the base of DV with ample access to public transportation as well as Down Town Park City. The Home was clean, spacious, and extremely accommodating. 10/10.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. Brad met us upon arrival and walked us through everything we needed to know, which was super helpful for our first time to PC/DV. Stayed with a group of 8 and everyone had plenty of space and it never felt crowded - the space could easily handle a larger group. The openness of the living room / kitchen / hot tub area was a great spot for the whole group to congregate. The over-sized couch in the living room was the group's top hang out and wind-down spot. The location is also very convenient to the bus (picks up every 10 minutes) that will drop you off directly at the Main St., which is also where you can connect to other bus lines (i.e. if going to Canyons side) - we walked from the house to the bus stop in our ski boots with no problems. The house was clean and very comfortable. We would absolutely book this place on a return visit.

10 of us stayed at the house for a business retreat and had a great time! Lots of sleeping options, spacious living room, ability to park 2-3 cars. We loved the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Huge kitchen to cook for all.

We had a great stay here and would definitely come back! Place was bigger than expected and fit us 7 comfortably with 7 beds. Having the shuttle nearby was also a plus to avoid taking Ubers into town. Highly recommend.
